Frequently asked questions
The questions applicants and their families ask us most often. Every situation is still reviewed individually.
Does Campus Italie guarantee admission to an Italian university?
No. No admission can be guaranteed. Requirements, documents and deadlines vary by university, programme and applicant profile, and the final decision always belongs to the institution. Our role is to prepare a complete, consistent application submitted on time.
What level of Italian is required to study in Italy?
It depends on the programme: some courses are taught in Italian and usually require B1 or B2, others are taught in English. We prepare language progression from A1 to B2 and guide you towards the level your chosen programme expects.
When should the process start?
The Italian calendar is strict. Starting six to twelve months before the intended intake leaves time for translations, legalisations, admission tests and consular steps.
Which documents are usually required?
Most often: secondary school diploma and transcripts, sworn translation and legalisation, language certificate, valid passport, proof of financial resources and health insurance. The exact list depends on the university and the consulate.
How does the support work?
A first conversation lets us review your profile and goals. We then identify suitable programmes, prepare the application document by document and follow the official steps through to enrolment and arrival.
Does Campus Italie represent Italian universities?
No. Campus Italie is an independent academic orientation and support centre. We claim no official representation of, or partnership with, any university.
Is the student visa secured?
No. Visa decisions belong exclusively to the consular authorities. We prepare the consular file and the interview, without being able to commit to the outcome.
